A client deposited into what appeared to be a regulated broker. Withdrawals were blocked after several months. We packaged the evidence, coordinated with the payment channels used, and supported a partial recovery of transferred funds.
Crypto Scam – Romance-to-Investment Scheme
Large crypto transfers followed a long social-engineering process. Rapid on-chain analysis and reports to intermediate exchanges resulted in a freeze on a portion of the remaining balance.
Hardware Wallet – Damaged Device
A client’s Ledger Nano became unresponsive after physical damage. The recovery sheet was intact. We guided a secure restoration onto a new device, verified addresses on-screen, and the full balance was transferred under the client’s control within one week.
Partial Seed Phrase Reconstruction
Only 18 of 24 words remained legible, with uncertain order on two of them. Using checksum validation and known address history, viable candidates were identified and the wallet restored. Majority of the holdings were recovered.
Exchange 2FA Lockout
After losing access to an authenticator app, the client could not withdraw. We prepared a complete identity and ownership package. Working through the exchange’s official recovery channel, access was restored in approximately 12 days.
Mobile Wallet After Phone Theft
Phone stolen; no cloud backup enabled. The client still possessed the handwritten seed. Immediate guidance prevented further risk, and assets were moved to a new hardware wallet the same day.
Forgotten Desktop Wallet Password
An old encrypted Bitcoin Core wallet.dat from 2017. Client remembered approximate patterns and length. Controlled offline analysis recovered the password. Funds were swept to a modern wallet setup.
Unauthorized Bank Transfers to Crypto
Multiple wires sent to an exchange after banking credentials were compromised. Rapid documentation and coordination with the bank and exchange support resulted in a partial freeze and recovery of a significant portion of the transferred value.
